Job Title: PLM & CPQ Project Manager

Location: Dallas, TX

Employment Type: Contract

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end delivery of IT projects with minimal supervision.
• Plan, execute, and deliver projects in alignment with business goals, ensuring accountability, clear scope, timelines, and communication.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and document PLM and CPQ requirements.
• Manage configuration, implementation, and administration of PLM and/or CPQ systems.
• Analyze and optimize business processes related to product lifecycle and quote-to-cash operations.
• Support development and testing of system enhancements and integrations.
• Deliver end-user training and documentation to support adoption.
• Provide regular updates to executive stakeholders and manage escalations effectively.
• Foster a high-performance culture with ownership, clarity, and results orientation.
• Identify and mitigate project risks proactively.
• Contribute to data management and governance efforts across PLM and CPQ systems.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in IT project management, including enterprise-level implementations.
• 3 5 years of experience in a functional or techno-functional role supporting PLM or CPQ systems.
• Strong understanding of product configuration, quoting, and lifecycle management processes.
• Demonstrated success in managing cross-functional teams and multiple priorities in fast-paced environments.
• Proficient with project management tools (e.g., JIRA, MS Project).
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
• Experience with business requirements gathering and solution design.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or similar certifications are a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Based in or willing to relocate to Dallas, TX.
• Experience in PLM Windchill or Oracle CPQ platforms.
• Background in manufacturing or engineering-driven industries.
• Experience in consulting or fast-paced enterprise IT environments.
