Production Support/Systems Analyst
This company is looking for someone with strong SQL skills and problem-solving to help ensure our systems run smoothly and deliver accurate, high-quality data across the organization.
The company is located in Silver Spring, MD and will be 3-4 days onsite a week. This position is a 6 month contract-to-hire.

What You Will Be Doing:
- Diagnose and resolve system and application issues using data analysis and log reviews
- Write and execute SQL queries to investigate, troubleshoot, and validate data-related problems
- Triage incoming technical support requests: assess, prioritize, and resolve or escalate appropriately
- Provide user support for access, configuration, and general system inquiries
- Translate technical details into clear, understandable terms for non-technical staff and stakeholders
- Document technical issues, resolutions, and standard operating procedures
- Collaborate with developers and QA teams to test and deploy system updates
- Monitor application logs and performance metrics to identify and address recurring issues
- Participate in Agile team meetings and stay informed on system changes and enhancements
- 1-3 years of experience in a systems analyst, application support, or IT operations role
- Proficiency in SQL for troubleshooting and data validation
- Working knowledge of Microsoft platforms (Windows, Office 365, Active Directory)
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly
- A logical, resourceful approach to troubleshooting and issue triage
- Familiarity with ticketing systems like Jira, ServiceNow, or similar
- Exposure to .NET technologies (e.g., ASP.NET, Microsoft Dynamics)
- Understanding of APIs, reporting tools, or Agile methodologies
