Epic Principal Trainer

Title: OR IS Epic Principal Trainer Hybrid Corvallis, OR

Location: Corvallis, OR (Hybrid Onsite Wednesdays & Thursdays)
Duration: 13 Weeks (40 hours/week)

Job Description:
We are seeking an Epic Principal Trainer to join our team. The trainer will participate in a team environment to provide Epic training across multiple applications, serve as a subject matter expert on user workflows, and deliver both in-person and virtual instruction. Responsibilities include orientation of new employees, mentoring for performance improvement, process automation opportunities (including AI), and evaluating educational activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver Epic training sessions (classroom and virtual) for workforce development

• Serve as SME for EpicCare Ambulatory workflows in an outpatient setting

• Mentor, coach, and evaluate training programs to improve adoption and performance

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Epic software functionality and workflow optimization

• Provide feedback to IS staff for design and training material improvements

• Support LMS platform usage and enhancements

Requirements:

• Bachelor s degree (or equivalent experience) in a related field

• EpicCare Ambulatory PT Proficiency or Certification in Beacon, Wound, or Hospice (Required)

• 1 3+ years of hands-on Epic training experience (classroom or virtual)

• Strong communication, facilitation, and troubleshooting skills

• Familiarity with LMS platforms

• Experience with MS Office and media equipment

• Healthcare environment experience preferred

• Previous experience in Jeeves is a plus

Work Schedule:

• Day shift: 8:00 AM 4:30 PM (No weekends)

• Hybrid role Onsite Wednesdays & Thursdays in Corvallis, OR
