Location : San Francisco Bay Area ( ONSITE for the First 2 Months Later REMOTE)
Duration: Long term
Visa: willing to start on our W2 Without benefits
Experience: 12 Years and above only

Description:
We are supporting a leading automotive client in the Bay Area on a long-term SAP S/4HANA engagement and are seeking a senior functional consultant who can act as the Functional Owner for Service Management and Warranty.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the functional lead for post-sale and after-sales processes including service notifications, service orders, field service execution, warranty entitlement, and claims/recovery.
Act as the bridge between client business stakeholders and the system integrator (SI) to ensure design solutions meet real-world operational needs.
Review proposed functional designs, challenge assumptions, and validate end-to-end business process alignment.
Define and ensure proper integration of service and warranty processes with SD (billing), MM (spares management), and FI/CO (costing and recovery).
Support the complete service-to-billing flow - from customer issue reporting service order creation/dispatch technician time and parts capture warranty validation correct billing and claims posting.
Provide subject matter expertise in SAP S/4HANA Service with strong hands-on experience in:
Warranty entitlement and claim management
Service contracts and service order management
Installed base, equipment master, and serial number tracking
Financial integration for cost capture and recovery
Ideal Profile:
Proven expertise in SAP S/4HANA Service Management and Warranty (not generic SD/MM).
Experience in automotive or manufacturing industry post-sales service processes.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence design decisions
