We are seeking an outstanding full-stack software engineer to join an established backend engineering team. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $133,900 -- $242,000 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.
At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.

What you'll Do
- Innovate new features or functional domains in a way that influences the design and architecture of our solutions
- Craft and develop systems that are highly reliable, scalable, but remain easy to maintain
- Improve the availability, performance, scalability, and security of the product
- Conduct effective peer code reviews and provide mentorship to junior members of the team
- Lead and participate in production deployment activities and resolve issues from the production environment
- Evaluate new technologies and help incorporate them into the technology stack
- Be responsible for programming and testing plans for significant solutions and lead architecture and design discussions
- Collaborate with Client Services, Operations, and other Engineering teams
What you need to succeed
- 5+ years of industry software development experience
- Proficiency in modern JavaScript frameworks (ReactJS, AngularJS, etc.)
- Strong backend experience with one or more of: Node, Python, Java, or .NET
- Strong core Java or other object-oriented languages, design patterns, and OOD/OOP skills
- Comfortable working with SQL and NoSQL databases
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and cloud infrastructure
- Passion for writing high-quality, scalable code and solving complex problems
- Ability to address problems, large or small, in quick time
- Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- BS/MS or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field preferred
What will help you stand out from the crowd
- Experience designing and developing-large scale web applications, preferably as part of a Software as a Service (SaaS) platform
- Exposure to authentication/authorization (OAuth, SSO)
- Experience building applications on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
- Solid understanding of Docker, Podman, Kubernetes, or other container orchestration systems
- Experience working with ML and AI technologies
