Job Details

Objective:

This position is responsible for on-site IT support. The role will be responsible for fixing technical issues raised by end users on laptops, desktops, mobile devices, video conferencing, printers, hand-held scanners/terminals, network etc. and ensure appropriate maintenance of the IT infrastructure at various location(s).

Accountabilities:

Provide high quality onsite and remote support for end users including senior Executives. Quickly and effectively diagnose and resolve technical (hardware/software) issues related to PC's, servers, mobile devices, printers, network, video conferencing, WMS devices, security cameras, time & attendance kiosks & access control and other IT systems with minimal disruption to the users. Provide feedback, quality assurance, and user acceptance testing for technology products and services.

Configuration, installation, testing, patching of the above-mentioned hardware and related software.

Handle service requests, including registering user service requests, telephone and/or email contact with the user, tracking the status of reported problems, verification and change of the request status, create a knowledge base including a set of problems solved. Keeps detailed records of the computer hardware and software installed, including license audits.

Enhance the technology experience by showing users how to best use technology to deliver productivity and efficiency benefits. Front line of corporate technology, implementations, new technologies, and preparing teams for use and supporting technologies through their lifecycle.

Creation of technical documentation including break/fix solutions and manuals. Providing periodic reports to management.

Acts as onsite IT ambassador, understand the usage of applications and technologies in the relevant business. Can coordinate support and problem resolution with remote IT teams.

Participation in investment projects.

Management of selected IT systems.

Prepare recommendations for the repair, upgrade, decommissioning and purchase of computer hardware, printers, software, mobile phones, AV systems, CCTV systems and network infrastructure. Participation in budget planning.

Coordinate with and support external vendors.

Manage own time to fulfill tasks efficiently, in the correct priority, and to the required level of quality, within the context of the objectives supplied by the manager. Perform any other duty reasonable corresponding with the role.

Oversees the local IT infrastructure and takes immediate action in cooperation with the third line of support to resolve any outages that occur as quickly as possible. Takes care of replacing and securing backup tapes as scheduled.

Education : Associate's Degree or equivalent of work experience.
Education field: Computer Information Systems, Electronics, Electrical Engineering or Automation
years of experience : 1-3
IT Software: Proficient in Microsoft Office Products, Windows Operating Systems, iOS, Android

Other qualifications: Knowledge of Information Technologies (fundamental concepts, systems, platforms, tools, and technologies, hardware, software, and services), the widespread application of IT in manufacturing industry, and the common roles of IT professionals. Understand concepts of server, desktop, application, and virtualization. Understand the purpose and function of fundamental communication system hardware, including end user devices, switches, routers, cabling, wireless access points. Very good knowledge of Windows 10/11. Experience with ITSM systems. Familiarity with enterprise imaging and updating tools. TCP/IP network understand. Familiarity with ITIL.

Competence required: Strong interpersonal and communication skills with proven ability to work independently and with teams. Strong organizational and administrative skills with a sincere desire to help. Ability to communicate and build strong collaborative relationships with key stakeholders.
