Job Details

Role: Google Cloud Platform Engineer
Duration: 12 Months

Location: Remote (Candidate should be local to California)
Note: Onsite travel to San Jose, CA, once a month

Role and responsibilities:

Skill Set Requirement:

Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) Expertise:

  • Hands-on experience with Vertex AI, including Agent Engine, Vertex AI Search, and the Agent Development Kit (ADK).
  • Proficiency in deploying and managing applications on Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) and/or Cloud Run.
  • Strong understanding of Google Cloud Platform security principles, including IAM, VPC Service Controls, and Model Armor.

Agent and AI Development:

  • Experience in developing and orchestrating multi-agent systems.
  • Expertise with agentic frameworks, specifically LangChain and LangGraph.
  • Background in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and building Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems.

Data and Observability:

  • Experience with data pipeline design and optimization.
  • Hands-on skills with Open Telemetry and implementing robust monitoring and observability for AI/ML systems.
  • Ability to design and implement end-to-end tracing for complex, multi-step agent interactions.

Advisory and Collaboration:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working in a co-development model, mentoring, and enabling customer teams.
  • Ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • This role is to provide advisory, but they may need to provide example code snippets for work that demonstrates how to resolve customer issues.
