Senior DevOps Engineer

They are searching for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join their team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring service delivery, reliability, and scalability through IaC practices. Your responsibilities will include implementing automation, optimizing monitoring systems, and providing tools for engineers to maintain their technology stack efficiently. Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering, preferably within the consumer software industry.
• Proficiency in AWS services such as IAM, EC2, VPC, NLB, Autoscaling, etc.
• Strong inclination towards automating repetitive tasks using scripting languages like Bash or Python.
• Hands-on experience with Docker containerization and orchestration tools like ECS or Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform for managing and provisioning infrastructure.
• Solid understanding and practical application of microservices architecture and 12 factor principles.
• Bonus points for proficiency in Golang development.

• Implementing automation strategies, effective monitoring practices, and infrastructure-as-code solutions.
• Developing, maintaining, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines for both new and existing services.
• Enhancing alerting systems and escalation protocols for improved incident response.
• Strengthening application and environment security through adherence to standards and best practices and providing secure development tooling.
• Iterating on deployment best practices to enhance deployment quality and speed.
• Collaborating to improve system performance with a focus on high availability and scalability.
• Designing and implementing various infrastructure architectures to support evolving business needs.
