RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Planning Manager, PDLC & PI in San Francisco, CA.
Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Planning Manager to join our Enterprise Program Management Office (ePMO) and help us shape the future of technology at scale. In this role, you will take the lead on planning and executing critical initiatives across a large, fast-moving technology organization. You will be the driving force behind clear, consistent communication with stakeholders, rock-solid process documentation, and accurate planning outcomes that set our teams up for success. Beyond execution, you will be a champion for continuous improvement, spotting opportunities to make our processes sharper and more effective, all while building trusted relationships with our technology leaders.
REQUIREMENTS:
* 7+ years of experience in technology program or portfolio management, with a track record of success leading large-scale, high-impact initiatives
* Deep knowledge of Agile planning; SAFe or Scrum certification required
* Understand AI Tooling and have experience managing AI use cases; Plus, if you have managed or supported rollout of an AI program
* Familiarity with program management and portfolio management frameworks, PMP certification preferred
* Have some experience with project budgets and cost forecasting
* Strong data-driven decision-making skills with comfort using metrics, dashboards, and analytics to inform planning and prioritization
* Demonstrated ability to influence without authority and lead cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment
* Fanatical drive and ability to get things done to deliver value to the business
* Proven executive presence with the ability to simplify and communicate complex technology topics to senior leaders
* Skilled at juggling multiple initiatives without losing focus on what matters most
* Exceptional at building relationships and communicating effectively with leaders and stakeholders at every level
* Detail-obsessed, highly organized, and committed to creating clarity through documentation
* Passionate about finding better ways of working and driving continuous improvement
* Comfortable navigating FinTech environments, with an understanding of digital transformation, cloud technologies, SaaS platforms, and customer-first thinking
* Excited by opportunities to experiment, pivot quickly, and help scale technology capabilities to meet business growth
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
