Position Summary:

Sr. Business Analyst (SAP) is responsible for providing the technical leadership and support for all the SAP master data activities for the ongoing implementation and the continual improvement of SAP/MES systems. This position will be providing the technical support to various business functions and end users to develop and review of SAP requirements based on the current needs and future opportunities for the business. This position will closely work with all the business functional departments collating the requirements and interface with SAP IT teams in relaying the needs and lead the efforts of requirements finalization, design, build, testing, implementation, and training respective functions.

Job Description:
  • Act as the SAP Subject Matter Expert (SME) and be the primary site contact for all things related to the SAP.
  • Collaborate in close partnership with local SMEs, central SAP, MES, SCADA, IS, PMO functions to ensure customer needs are identified and effective systems solutions are implemented.
  • Responsible for the design, documenting, and maintenance of SAP processes within manufacturing.
  • Lead business requirements gathering activities and liaise with all stakeholders to ensure requirements are understood and signed off prior to development commencement.
  • Build and contribute to the on-going creation and maintenance of knowledge repositories by extracting the relevant knowledge and expertise from various technical teams.
  • The system implementation process (development, testing, production etc.) is planned and documented effectively.
  • Lead problem management Initiatives associated with the software systems.
  • Support production and related software upgrade activities.
  • Administer the Master data in the SAP System.
  • Act to improve organizational culture, processes, products, or services.
  • Work with IT & Business when new functionality is released to production to ensure a smooth transition to the new process.


Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related discipline.
  • 2 or more years of SAP working experience with a deep understanding PP, QM, WM modules.


Preferred Skills:
  • SAP expertise as it relates to Master Data: Material Master, BOMs, Routings, Vendor, Customer.
  • SAP transactional data expertise as it relates to Material Movements, Inspection Results, Production Orders, etc.
  • Experience with Manufacturing operations including Shopfloor Operations, Material Movements, Quality Control, Process Control and Process Verification.
  • Experience in software/systems development and integration and familiarity with Manufacturing/Shop Floor Execution Systems.
  • Understanding of FDA and Regulatory Quality and Software Validation Requirements e.g. GAMP
  • Possess project management skillset to facilitate and manage meetings, project plans, status reports, risk analysis, budgets, testing, resource management and task assignments.
  • Experience of Six Sigma and Lean methodologies advantageous.
