Description
HCA Healthcare is seeking a Vice President of Data Products to join its Digital Technology & Innovation (DT&I) team-a department launched in January 2025 as part of a strategic investment to unlock greater value from AI across the enterprise. HCA has made a $550M investment in DT&I over the next 5 years. With one of the largest clinical datasets in the world and a long history of success in traditional analytics, HCA is now focused on elevating its data strategy to support AI-driven decision-making. The organization has 17 teams actively building AI solutions, and this role will lead the development of scalable, reusable data products that ensure high-quality, error-free data-critical for AI reliability.
The VP will oversee efforts to retire legacy platforms and build modern data products that serve the entire company, enabling long-term analytics and innovation. This centralized team works across business units to break down silos and deliver enterprise-wide solutions. Executive presence is essential, as this leader will engage with C Level stakeholders to drive alignment, influence strategy, and ensure the continued evolution of HCA's data capabilities.
The Vice President of Data Products will be the fourth key leader reporting to HCA's Chief Data & Innovation Officer, joining peers in data governance, engineering, and architecture. This role is responsible for leading a team of product owners and analysts to define and execute strategic roadmaps for enterprise data products. As part of HCA's broader data strategy, the VP will manage the delivery of high-quality, AI-ready data products, engage with business leaders to understand use cases, and prioritize initiatives based on ROI. This function is critical to enabling scalable, reusable data solutions that support AI, analytics, and long-term innovation across the organization.
