RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in need of a Senior Project Manager in Boston, MA.
Responsibilities:
* Lead cross-departmental initiatives, adapting quickly to shifting priorities with an agile, solutions-oriented mindset to ensure project success
* Create and maintain key project artifacts including plans, user stories, checklists, timelines, budgets, and executive-level presentations
* Translate business requirements from proposals into clear technical specifications and project scope documentation
* Align technical direction with organizational standards while advocating for optimal solutions when standard approaches may not fit
* Facilitate project outcome assessments to identify successes, areas for improvement, and lessons learned
* Provide regular updates through written status reports and leadership presentations
* Support strategic planning by aligning project goals with organizational priorities and maintaining PMO processes and standards
REQUIREMENTS:
* 5-7 years of experience in IT project management, including senior roles with budget oversight and cross-functional leadership
* Proven success managing large, complex IT programs and leading teams through change
* Strong project leadership skills, including stakeholder management, meeting facilitation, and matrixed team coordination
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills across all organizational levels
* Skilled in change management strategies that align people, processes, and technology with business goals
* Proficient in project management methodologies (e.g., PMP, Agile, Scrum), governance frameworks, and change management practices
* Comfortable working in dynamic environments with evolving requirements and high levels of transformation
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
