Location: Hybrid- 3x/week onsite in Coppell, TX

Salesforce QA Engineer (with Development Experience)
Overview
We are looking for a Salesforce QA Engineer with experience in Salesforce testing and development. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about quality assurance but also has hands-on Salesforce development exposure particularly the ability to write and maintain Apex unit tests. Experience with Tricentis Tosca is a HUGE nice to have, as the QA Engineer will be responsible for creating, executing, and automating test cases for Salesforce Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, and custom applications.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test plans for Salesforce applications (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Lightning, custom apps).
Build and maintain Apex unit tests to support development teams and ensure code coverage meets Salesforce requirements.
Leverage Tosca for test automation, regression testing, and end-to-end validation of Salesforce processes.
Collaborate closely with Salesforce developers, admins, and business analysts to validate requirements and ensure high-quality delivery.
Test Lightning Web Components (LWC), flows, Apex classes, triggers, and integrations with external systems.
Track and document defects using Jira (or similar tools), working with development teams to resolve issues quickly.
Participate in Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives) and contribute to QA best practices within the team.
Ensure compliance with Salesforce release cycles by validating sandbox refreshes, regression packs, and production deployments.
Qualifications
5+ years of QA experience, with at least 2+ years in Salesforce testing.
Experience with Tosca for test case design, execution, and automation.
Hands-on ability to write Apex unit tests and collaborate with developers on test coverage.
Strong knowledge of Salesforce architecture, data model, and declarative/custom features.
Familiarity with Lightning Web Components, SOQL queries, and Salesforce APIs.
Exposure to Agile/Scrum environments, Jira/Confluence, and CI/CD pipelines.
Salesforce QA or Developer certifications (e.g., Platform Developer I, Administrator) preferred.
Soft Skills
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communicator able to bridge QA, development, and business stakeholders.
Self-motivated and proactive in driving quality improvements.
