  • Handle incoming mail by accepting, sorting, and delivering it to the correct recipients.

  • Prepare outgoing mail and packages for shipment using proper packaging and postage.

  • Operate standard mailroom equipment such as postage meters, letter openers, and fold-and-insert machines.

  • Prepare documents for scanning, including organizing, removing staples, and ensuring proper order.

  • Operate document imaging/scanning equipment to convert physical documents into electronic files.

  • Verify the quality and accuracy of digital images.

  • Index and store scanned documents in accordance with organizational standards and procedures.

  • Prepare, record, and ship physical records to offsite storage facilities.

  • Process requests for record retrievals and ensure timely return of stored documents.


Additional Requirements

  • Must be comfortable interacting with internal customers and providing professional service.

  • Onsite position only; remote work is not available.

  • Ability to lift at least 40 lbs.

  • Must be comfortable standing for extended periods of time.


Skills & Competencies

  • Proficient PC skills.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

  • 10-key data entry proficiency.

  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.

  • Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively.

  • Experience with document management systems is a plus.
