Amazon's Consumer Electronics team is looking for a highly motivated and customer obsessed Senior Product Manager - Technical to shape and deliver the future of our complementary recommendations (Comp Recs) shopping experience on Amazon.com. These basket building experiences help the customer complete their shopping objectives (more than one item) faster. The individual in this role will primarily focus on identifying and executing a roadmap of opportunities to deliver a best-in-class shopping experience where customers can easily discover complementary items when they are shopping for product (e.g., software when shopping for a laptop). This is a high-impact role with goals to invent new experiences for customers and deliver significant business growth.

We are seeking a self-starter who has experience defining and delivering customer-facing product features. Successful candidates will be big thinkers who have track records of working effectively with business and engineering teams to bring those ideas to life. The Senior Product Manager - Technical will work closely with many stakeholders across Amazon including Engineering (CE Tech, Search, Detail Page, Cart), Program Management, Marketing, BI, Legal, and Compliance. The role requires a high degree of customer obsession, strong analytical knowledge, attention to detail, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and an ability to drive consensus across multiple stakeholders.

Primary responsibilities of this role include:
- Developing customer insights and a thorough understanding of basket building experiences, including emerging trends and best practices for the customer shopping (online and offline)
- Creating a vision and prioritizing opportunities to improve the complementary recommendations shopping and discovery experience
- Building business requirements for products, collaborating with engineering teams, and making decisions that ensure delivery to those requirements
- Testing and iterating on products to ensure product success and to define follow-on features, using business and adoption metrics to inform your perspectives

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - Bachelor's degree
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience managing technical products or online services
- Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning
- Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market.
