Description

We are looking for an experienced Systems Administrator to join our team in Chicago, IL. In this role, you will oversee the performance and security of various systems, while ensuring seamless day-to-day operations and supporting critical projects. This position offers an opportunity to work with cutting-edge tools and technologies to enhance and safeguard enterprise applications.

Responsibilities:

Monitor system performance to ensure optimal functionality and reliability.

Conduct in-depth system analysis to identify and address potential issues.

Administer and provision enterprise applications, including Google Workspace, Jira Service Management, and Jamf.

Manage and maintain tools such as Entra, Intune, M365, Slack, Crowdstrike, Cloudflare, and Cisco Umbrella.

Collaborate with the IT team to implement improvement plans and procedures for enhanced operations.

Ensure security protocols are in place and followed for all systems and applications.

Configure and support hardware and software solutions to meet organizational needs.

Provide technical expertise and guidance for project delivery.

Develop and enforce policies for system usage and maintenance.

Troubleshoot and resolve system-related issues in a timely manner.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems administration or a related field.

Proficiency in Cisco, Citrix, and Dell Technologies.

Strong knowledge of cloud platforms and backup solutions.

Expertise in managing Active Directory and firewall technologies.

Familiarity with enterprise tools such as JIRA and Jamf Pro.

Skilled in cluster analysis and AB testing.

Experience with computer hardware and system security practices.

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
