Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

  • 3+ years of experience in API development (REST/GraphQL).

  • Proficiency in backend programming languages (Java, Python, Node.js, or Go).

  • Experience with API gateways (Kong, Apigee, AWS API Gateway, or similar).

  • Hands-on expertise with New Relic APM, logs, alerts, and dashboards.

  • Strong understanding of API authentication and authorization (OAuth2, JWT, etc.).

  • Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).

  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).

  • Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and performance optimization skills.
