Job Title: Workday HCM Techno functional Lead

Location: Atlanta, GA (Onsite / Hybrid)


Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Workday HCM Techno functional Lead to manage configuration, enhancements, and day-to-day operations of the Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) platform. This role partners closely with HR, IT, and business leadership to drive automation, optimize HR processes, and ensure Workday aligns with organizational objectives. The ideal candidate brings strong hands-on Workday functional expertise across multiple HCM modules and has experience leading projects and mentoring teams.


Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the Workday HCM functional lead across modules including Core HCM, Compensation, Advanced Compensation, Talent, Absence, Benefits, Payroll, Recruiting, and related areas.

  • Configure and maintain business processes, security roles, supervisory organizations, calculated fields, dashboards, and reporting.

  • Partner with HR Business Partners and Centers of Excellence to gather requirements and deliver scalable, best-practice solutions.

  • Lead Workday releases, upgrades, regression testing, and rollout of new functionality.

  • Troubleshoot system issues and ensure timely resolution for end users.

  • Develop custom reports, advanced calculated fields, condition rules, and dashboards.

  • Use EIBs (Enterprise Interface Builder) for data loads and support integration testing and troubleshooting.

  • Lead and mentor the Workday team; manage workload, priorities, and performance.

  • Ensure data integrity, compliance, and governance across the Workday ecosystem.


Required Qualifications.

  • Strong understanding of HR operations and end-to-end HCM business processes.

  • Proven experience with Workday reporting, calculated fields, dashboards, and condition rules.

  • Hands-on experience with EIBs and basic integration troubleshooting.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Information Systems, or a related field.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Workday Pro Certification (Core HCM, Payroll, Compensation, etc.).

  • Experience with Workday integrations, Finance, or Adaptive Planning.

  • Background in logistics, supply chain, or freight-forwarding environments.

  • Exposure to CargoWise One or similar platforms.

  • Master’s degree in a related field.
