Role: Palantir Data Architect

Hybrid Role in Atlanta, GA or Charlotte, NC

W2 Contract Role

JD:

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the architecture, modeling, and implementation of scalable data solutions within Palantir Foundry.
  • Design Foundry Ontologies, datasets, and data relationships to support operational and analytical use cases.
  • Develop and maintain Code Repositories, Contour Pipelines, and Quiver Transformations for ETL/ELT workflows.
  • Implement data governance best practices, including access controls, lineage, quality, and auditability.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to translate requirements into Foundry objects, workflows, and decision frameworks.
  • Optimize pipeline performance, resource usage, and compute efficiency across Foundry environments.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate external data sources (APIs, warehouses, streams, operational systems).
  • Support the development of Operational Applications using Foundry s low-code and coding frameworks.
  • Build reusable data assets and templates to accelerate adoption of Foundry across programs.
  • Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and regulatory requirements in data processing workflows.
  • Provide technical guidance, documentation, and mentoring for data engineers and analysts using Foundry.
Required Qualifications
  • 6+ years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, or analytics engineering.
  • Hands-on experience with Palantir Foundry: Ontology, Pipelines, Code Workbooks, Transformations, and Operational Applications.
  • Strong expertise in Python, SQL, Spark, or equivalent distributed processing frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT design, warehousing principles, and data integration.
  • Experience designing data security models, RBAC, and lineage frameworks in enterprise environments.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience implementing scalable, production-grade data solutions.
