Job Description:
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Desktop Engineer to join their team. This role is responsible for the continuous evolution of the client’s workstation computing environment focusing on workstation management, application deployment, and asset management. The ideal candidate will be technically proficient with a strong customer service mindset and a priority on security. This full-time position is based on-site, ensuring robust interaction and collaboration within the IT team.

Responsibilities:
  • Propose, design, and implement enhancements and additions to the workstation computing environment.
  • Manage technical implementation of workstation management, application deployment, and updates.
  • Lead asset management to ensure accurate and efficient tracking of IT resources.
  • Ensure incidents are resolved and closed within defined service level agreements, managing support ticket queues effectively.
  • Coordinate with vendors for provisioning or hardware support, such as warranty repair/replacement.
  • Utilize decision-making processes to prioritize daily tasks and assignments, ensuring tasks are carried out properly and on a timely basis.
  • Respond to end-user requests for updates on ticket status and promptly follow up as needed.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in mobile device management and system management.
  • Strong knowledge of PC and laptop hardware with troubleshooting techniques.
  • Proficiency in Active Directory, Exchange, ActiveSync, and mobile device management systems like Microsoft Intune.
  • Understanding of Microsoft 365 licensing and security software applications.
  • Skilled with network troubleshooting methods and technologies such as DHCP, DNS, SD-WAN, and VLAN.
  • Exceptional communication skills with a focus on customer service.
  • Ability to work with demanding users in a fast-paced environment.
  • Preferred certifications: A+, Network+, MCP, MCSA, MCSE, CCNA, CCNP, ITIL.
  • Experience with Jamf, Microsoft Intune, and other workstation management platforms is a plus.

Pay Range: $95,000 - $130,000 annually

This position is based in office and requires the employee to work on-site.
