We are seeking a skilled Director of Business Intelligence to lead our BI team. This role involves developing and implementing data analytics strategies, designing a data warehouse, and providing insights to stakeholders. The ideal candidate has a strong technical background in data warehousing, modeling, visualization, and analytics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement BI strategies to support organizational goals.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define reporting and visualization requirements.
- Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of BI solutions using tools like Tableau, Power BI, and QlikView.
- Manage and mentor a team of BI developers.
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency in partnership with the data engineering team.
- Continuously improve BI solutions for optimal performance.
- Stay updated with emerging BI technologies and best practices.
- Optimize data storage, processing, and retrieval with data engineering and infrastructure teams.
- Develop and enforce data governance policies for security and compliance.
- Report BI initiatives' status and progress to senior management.

Requirements
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of professional experience
- Experience building custom dashboards, self-service tools, and interactive applications.
- Expertise in SQL query optimization and performance tuning.
- Experience with ETL tools (Talend, Informatica, SSIS).
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, QlikView).
- Knowledge of database design, data modeling, and warehousing concepts.
- Familiarity with big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Hive) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra).
- Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Experience with agile project management methodologies.
