MDM Application Developer

GoAhead Solutions has a great opportunity in Detroit, MI (Hybrid/Remote) for an MDM Application Developer. This would be a Six to Twelve month contract to start out. Must be able to work EST or CST hours.  Would like someone to come into the office 1 day a week, but will consider remote for the right person.

Job Description:

This role will work closely with clients, business analysts and team members on major projects to understand the business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions that align with business and IT strategies and are in compliance with the organization’s architectural standards. Provide support in the full systems life cycle that may span a broad range of applications to ensure application software is delivered on time and within budget. Five (5) years of application programming and analysis experience required. Broad level of understanding surrounding information systems and application architecture standards required. Experience designing, developing and testing applications using proven or emerging technologies required. Project management and experience leading projects preferred.

Engagement Description:

-The Master Data Management service team is looking for a developer to contribute in the stabilization and growth of our internal Master Data Management solutions.

-Future system releases will help lay the data foundation necessary to generate growth and success in Health Care’s New Normal, by generating master identifiers for all key business entities and by creating sources of truth for corporate reference data.

-Developer will be primarily responsible for creating and maintaining components that interact with IBM Infosphere MDM SE and Informatica MDM to create and communicate mastered data to consumers across the enterprise.

-Developers will create standard System Development Lifecycle Deliverables (eg. Detailed Designs, Unit Test Cases, Test Data, Deployment Guide, etc.) in accordance with the organization’s process set.

-Other duties may be assigned.

Required Skills/Experience – Developers must have experience with the following:

-5+ years’ experience writing, supporting JAVA based applications.

-5+ years’ experience writing and executing SQL against ORACLE DB.

-5+ years’ experience with IBM Infosphere software.

-5+ years’ experience with Informatica MDM software.

-Experience with using Stone Branch.

-Experience using Dynatrace and other monitoring tools.

-This position requires after hours support for team on call rotation. and project, base work, or maintenance activities.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

-Understanding of basic statistics calculations.

-At least 5 years’ experience working with normalized data.

-Experience with scripting in Python and PERL.

-Experience working in a data bricks platform.

-Working knowledge of Relito’s Connected Data Platform preferred.

-Working knowledge of Informatica and Ataccama reference data management platforms.

Education and/or Experience

-Bachelor's degree in related field preferred

-Five (5) years of advanced MDM programming techniques and application design required.
