What you'll do...
Position: Senior Software Engineer
Job Location: 221 River St, Hoboken, NJ 07030
Duties: Builds n-tier applications using RESTful Services, Java/J2EE, Oracle and related technologies. Participates in managing code and configurations for multiple environments, release management process, creating and maintaining environment configuration and controls, code integrity and work closely with platform team. Analyzes business requirements, storyboards and similar artifacts of the scrum process. Works in an agile development environment with a quick turnaround time and iterative builds. Participates in the discovery phase of medium to large projects to come up with high level design. Troubleshoots business and production issues. Ensures inclusion of business vision and industry trends to enable results that drive business. Responsible for problem solving and troubleshooting design and development issues and provide appropriate solutions. Communicates effectively, both written and verbal, with technical and non-technical cross-functional teams. Provides guidance and mentorship to the junior engineers. Utilizing standard tools for optimizing and testing code.
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (any) or related field and 5 years of experience in large scale enterprise software development environment; OR Master's degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (any) or related field and 2 years of experience in large scale enterprise software development environment.
Skills required: Experience coding in Object oriented programming in Java language. Experience using J2EE advanced technologies to implement web-based Applications. Experience using Spring framework to implement the Application to enhance the code quality and reduce Boilerplate code. Experience using Spring boot technologies to implement project with server less architecture and Spring Rs implementation. Experience using Spring Boot, JAX-RS to implement Rest webservices and consume the external API's. Experience using docker and tomcat server to deploy the applications. Experience using No-SQL database to store the data across the project for structureless data. Experience implementing Stored procedures in Project to perform the block of business logic on database. Experience implementing the JUNIT framework to cover the test cases for code coverage. Experience implementing design patterns in the project to reduce the duplicate and effective code to enhance the code coverage and performance. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.
Salary Range: $189,592/year to $216,000/year. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location) and Stock equity incentives.
