Title: Senior Power BI Developer -W2 only
Location: Onsite - Rocky Hill, CT
Working Hours : 11.30AM- 8PM EST
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Power BI Developer to join our onsite team in Rocky Hill, CT. The ideal candidate will have extensive end-to-end Power BI development experience, strong SQL skills, and expertise in ETL processes using SSIS. The role also involves Power BI administration tasks and integration with tools like Power Query and Power Automate.
You will work on complex datasets involving over 500 million records, preferably within healthcare environments, such as patient and provider data, encounter data, and claims processing. Prior experience working with Enterprise Data Warehouses and a deep understanding of HIPAA, HL7, and ICD codes is strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and deploy end-to-end Power BI dashboards and reports

Perform Power BI administration tasks including workspace and gateway management

Create data models and ensure data accuracy, scalability, and performance

Develop and maintain ETL workflows using SSIS
-
Write and optimize complex SQL queries for large-scale data processing
-
Utilize Power Query for data transformation and Power Automate for task automation
-
Handle, process, and analyze massive datasets (500M+ records) efficiently
-
Collaborate with data architects and analysts to ensure seamless integration with the Enterprise Data Warehouse

Apply healthcare data knowledge in day-to-day development, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and understanding of HL7 and ICD standards
Required Qualifications:

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field

9+ years of IT experience with 6+ years in Power BI development

Proven experience with:
-
Power BI (DAX, Power Query, data modeling, visualizations)
-
Power BI administration
-
SQL (strong proficiency in writing complex queries)
-
ETL processes using SSIS

Power Automate
-

Hands-on experience working with large-scale datasets (500M+ records)

Experience working with Enterprise Data Warehouses
Preferred Qualifications:
