Job Details
Position Title: JBoss Architect
Job Location: NYC, NY
Duration for this position: 6 months
Need JBoss architect to support ongoing delivery, this was originally supposed to be provided by Middleware support, but unable to get resources
- Install and configure Robust, Scalable and Extensible JBoss environments (Dev, Test, and Production Environments)
- Upgrade JBoss to support newer application versions
- Install and configure Java and security certificates as part of the JBoss installation and configuration
- Deploy, configure, and maintain applications (JAR, JNDI, WAR, EAR, CGIs)
- Configure JBoss / Java security http vs https
- Support network configuration setup for Web
- Assist High Availability and Load Testing and configure application server for optimum performance. Tune configurations to achieve desired performance.
- Managing Web/ JBOSS severs/ VMs and software programs utilization.
- Configure monitoring tools. Automated threshold usage alerts/ periodic reports/ dashboards.
- WebLogic Knowledge/Expertise preferred. (Project requirement to understand As-Is PROD Weblogic Architecture - clusters, domains, instances, user organization and design To-Be JBOSS setup)
