Job Description:
Apex Systems seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Owner to join a growing team in Greenwood Village, CO supporting a Generative AI project.

Top Skills:
- 5+ years of experience within the Product Owner/Product Manager space- needs a senior level resource
- The ideal candidate will have a background in project management, product management, technical product delivery and an understanding of data science and data engineering.
- Experience working on complex technical projects related to software delivery
- Must have experience working on complex, technical projects related to software delivery (ideally AI, Data Science, or Data Engineering)
- Know how things work at a high level and strong technical aptitude
- Jira and Confluence is a must have
- Previous hands on technical experience
- High level knowledge/understanding of AWS and Gitlab
- Strong communication, critical thinking, organization, and emotional intelligence
- Be able to make highly critical and strategic decisions
- Must be able to be self-sufficient once ramped up
- Must be flexible- given the project priorities and requests are changing all the time
Key Responsibilities:
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, to gather requirements, prioritize features, and ensure successful product delivery.
- Project Management: Oversee the development lifecycle from ideation to launch, ensuring timely and quality delivery of product milestones.
- Requirements Definition: Translate high-level business requirements into detailed functional specifications and user stories. Maintain a well-groomed product backlog.
- User Experience: Champion user-centric design principles to ensure the products deliver exceptional user experiences and meet customer needs.
- Performance Tracking: Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and inform future improvements.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, and designers, to ensure cohesive and efficient product development.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
