Job Details
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Business Analyst (Healthcare) to bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions. You ll play a key role in understanding clinical, operational, and administrative requirements turning them into actionable insights and solutions that improve patient care and organizational efficiency.
This role is ideal for someone who understands healthcare workflows, data, and compliance standards, and enjoys solving complex problems through analysis and collaboration.
- Partner with business stakeholders, clinicians, and technical teams to gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements.
- Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications for development teams.
- Work on projects involving EHR systems, healthcare analytics, population health, claims, or interoperability (HL7/FHIR).
- Analyze and interpret healthcare data (clinical, claims, operational) to identify patterns, gaps, and improvement opportunities.
- Support data-driven decision-making by preparing reports, dashboards, and KPIs.
- Collaborate with QA teams to validate solutions and ensure they meet defined requirements.
- Assist in process improvement initiatives, identifying automation and optimization opportunities.
- Ensure all projects comply with HIPAA, PHI, and healthcare data privacy standards.
- Bachelor s degree in Healthcare Management, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
- 3 7 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in healthcare technology or services.
- Strong understanding of healthcare systems, workflows, and data models (EHR, EMR, Claims, HL7, FHIR, ICD, CPT, etc.).
- Experience with SQL, Excel, BI tools (Tableau/Power BI), or healthcare data platforms.
- Excellent communication skills to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience with AI/ML or cloud-based healthcare analytics (Google Cloud Platform).
- Knowledge of healthcare interoperability and digital health standards.
- Exposure to HIPAA compliance, clinical data governance, or payer/provider systems.
- Certification in CBAP, CSPO, or Healthcare Informatics.
