Job Description
We're looking for a Software Development Director who can lead engineering teams through the architectural changes to deliver a hyperscale, cloud-based data processing system that can handle massive amounts of data with low latency. In this role you will have responsibility for the architecture of the health data platform and provide leadership to software development teams to complete the vision.

US: Hiring Range: from $120,300 to $291,900 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

- Deep expertise in design concepts and technologies within the data processing space.
- Successfully delivering and operating software products globally for large number of customers.
- Demonstrated achievement of operational excellence within the engineering organization leading to high customer satisfaction.
- Well versed in security and compliance of cloud-based applications and services, implementing appropriate security controls and monitoring solutions to protect sensitive data and mitigate risks.
- 5 plus years demonstrated ability leading software engineering teams.

- Developing strategic plans to accomplish technical as well as business objectives in partnership with leaders across various Oracle business groups and customers.
- Drive innovation within the health data platform through advancement of OCI data services.
- Lead engineering teams and own delivery of successful health data products and services to customers.
- Management responsibility over multiple software engineering teams.
- Building high performing geographically distributed engineering teams through hiring and coaching.
- Establish and implement engineering strategies that align with applicable standards and regulatory practices for healthcare software products. ]
