Title: Marketing Operations Consultant - RFP & Vendor Strategy
Type: PART TIME - Flexible Hours
Duration: Contract (3-5 Months)
Overview:
We are seeking a RFP & Vendor Strategy Consultant to support a strategic initiative focused on marketing and print operations. This role will play a critical part in helping the organization evaluate and select a new vendor to manage printed marketing materials such as business cards, welcome kits, and other branded collateral.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with internal stakeholders across marketing, procurement, and operations to gather and document business requirements.
- Lead or support the Request for Proposal (RFP) process for selecting a new print vendor.
- Create RFP documentation, define evaluation criteria, and coordinate communications with prospective vendors.
- Facilitate vendor Q&A, proposal collection, and evaluation sessions.
- Analyze vendor responses and assist in presenting findings and recommendations to leadership.
- Ensure alignment between stakeholder expectations, vendor capabilities, and budget/timeline requirements.
- Maintain documentation, status updates, and audit-ready records of the sourcing process.
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience as a Business Analyst, Sourcing Analyst, Procurement Specialist, or similar role.
- Demonstrated experience with requirements gathering and documentation, especially across marketing or print operations.
- Hands-on experience managing or supporting RFPs or vendor selection processes.
- Familiarity with print materials, marketing collateral, or promotional item sourcing is strongly preferred.
- Excellent stakeholder communication skills, with the ability to navigate cross-functional teams.
- Experience working in regulated or complex enterprise environments (e.g., financial services, healthcare) is a plus.
Nice to Have:
- Knowledge of procurement tools or RFP management platforms.
- Prior exposure to marketing operations or creative services workflows.
- Experience aligning vendors with brand standards and compliance guidelines.
