Job Title: GRC Engineer

Work Mode: Hybrid (San Jose,CA / Lehi,UT / New York, NY)

Employment Type: Contract (W2)

Duration: 12 Months

Role Overview

This role is part of Clients’s Technology GRC (TechGRC) organization, focused on engineering and automating compliance controls and processes. The candidate will join the automation team, building tools and platforms that enable near real-time compliance monitoring and enhanced visibility into Clients’s compliance posture.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and build a compliance automation platform/tool to provide a comprehensive view of organizational compliance posture
  • Take ownership of the end-to-end software development lifecycle, from design to deployment
  • Develop reusable, testable, and efficient code
  • Design and implement APIs and backend services
  • Rapidly prototype ideas and evaluate industry trends and emerging technologies
  • Enhance and maintain SharePoint sites, Wikis, and internal portals
  • Improve existing reporting tools by introducing new insights and automation
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver solutions that balance business needs and software maintainability
  • Work in an Agile development environment

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience
  • 5+ years of hands-on software design and development experience
  • Strong backend development experience with:
  • Node.js (Express.js)
  • Python (Flask)
  • Experience in API design and development
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases:
  • PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB
  • Experience with server-side templating (EJS)
