Job Details

We are hiring a Telecom Engineer with a strong Microsoft Teams Voice background, end-to-end telephony solution design expertise, CCaaS familiarity, and enterprise-level system migration experience. Candidates must be highly capable both technically (hands-on troubleshooting & design) and strategically (business alignment & process improvement).

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the migration to the Microsoft Teams Voice platform
  • Assist with Contact Center as a Service (CCaaS) initiatives involving platforms like Five9, NICE, Genesys, or Cisco
  • Gather and document business requirements for telephony systems
  • Understand and explain the how, why, and when behind telephony service delivery decisions to better align with business processes and goals
  • Design telecommunication solutions, including detailed specifications, and end-to-end Visio diagrams for implementations
  • Maintain telephony-related hardware, software, and infrastructure
  • Monitor and troubleshoot telephony systems; proactively address weaknesses and risks

Required Skills

  • Microsoft Teams Voice migration experience
  • CCaaS platform experience (Five9, NICE, Genesys, Cisco)
  • Strong business analysis and requirements gathering skills
  • Telephony solution design and support experience
  • Knowledge of:
    • TDM, IP-PBX, VM/UM integrations
    • PRI, Digital, Analog, VOIP, IP Telephony, POE, H323, SIP
  • PSTN connectivity management, including ISP provisioning
  • Dial-plan and call flow design and troubleshooting
  • Experience with Microsoft Teams deployment in a large enterprise
  • QoS/CoS traffic shaping and bandwidth management
  • Packet capture, analysis, and troubleshooting of IP voice issues
  • Number porting processes and best practices
