The EIA will engage in a broad range of tasks related to design solutions for integrating on-premises systems with cloud-based systems to ensure seamless data flow across the enterprise. Design data models (logical and physical) that support business intelligence, analytics,
and transactional processes.
This position requires technical proficiency in cloud initiatives, adherence to software & data
engineering best practices, leading a team of data analysts & data solution architects, and alignment with the agency s technical and information architecture direction. Additionally, the role involves training teams on leveraging the possibilities of business process reengineering, and cloud technologies to ensure successful adoption and implementation.
Core skills:

Expert-level experience in enterprise data/business architecture, including designing logical/physical data models, data lakes, and warehouses.

Proven hands-on expertise with AWS cloud data platforms (S3, Redshift, RDS) for designing and implementing integrated, scalable solutions.

Demonstrated experience leading teams of data analysts, architects, or engineers on data/analytics projects.

Healthcare domain experience, specifically with designing Master Patient Index (MPI) or similar identity management solutions.
Preferred Skills:

Certifications: AWS Solution Architect, Snowflake, and TOGAF.

Specific Experience: Prior work designing an AWS Data Lake for a healthcare/behavioral health agency (like DBHDS).

Broader Expertise: Formal experience in Business Process Reengineering (BPR) and change management.
