Job Details

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a local Salt Lake City, UT client that is seeking a mid-senior level Java EE Developer. This role will involve building, enhancing, and supporting our suite of internally developed Java applications. You must be able to work hybrid in Salt Lake City, UT.

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; equivalent combination of education and experience may meet the requirement
* 7+ years of experience with Java EE, encompassing development, testing, and troubleshooting; equivalent combination of education and experience may meet qualifications
* Understanding of Java EE architecture, components, and web application platforms including Tomcat/JBoss EAP Application Server, WebSphere, or related experience
* Advanced knowledge as a specialist of Spring framework, Web UI technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSP), SQL/NoSQL databases, and JPA/Hibernate, and ReactJS; Advanced knowledge of Oracle and other databases is a plus
* Advanced knowledge of Agile methodologies and software development lifecycles
* Experience in Web Services development and Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA)
* Extensive knowledge of data modeling concepts and integrated application development methodology
* Advanced debugging, problem-solving, and testing skills; Advanced knowledge of fault-tolerant software design, highly scalable, and high-performance software development
* Familiarity with ADO and Git
* Excellent analysis, judgment, and project management skills
* Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with both technical and non-technical staff
* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment
* Adaptability to changing technology and priorities
* Ability to work independently, handle multiple concurrent projects, and prioritize and manage projects effectively
* Capability to interpret, validate, and map business requirements to an appropriate solution
* Financial or banking services experience is a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
