Summary:
We are seeking an Electrical Engineer (PNT) with applicable experience in one or more disciplines of GPS, PNT, NAVWAR, CYBER and/or Communications engineering. This position will support rapid develop and integration of Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) technologies. Projects include GNSS receiver integration software development, GNSS receiver testing, NAVWAR hardware and software development, navigation system integration and system onsite support. This support includes the ability to perform hardware-in-the-loop and live sky testing by integrating hardware and assets with software tools, and the ability to articulate simulation/test results. A successful candidate has a high interest in GNSS, GNSS data and GNSS receivers, a desire to continuously learn, and the ability to be a contributing member of a small team. The successful candidate must be comfortable dealing with requirements changes, be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing and extensive CONUS and OCONUS travel.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical onsite support for all project products - training provided
  • Provide technical demonstrations and explains project product capabilities to others
  • Develop GNSS receiver software controllers
  • Understand and implement all aspects of the software development lifecycle - material provided
  • Actively participate in all hardware and software verification testing efforts
  • Understand the GNSS RF environment and GNSS Navigation Warfare (NAVWAR) threats
  • Develop user and test documentation as well as technical reports and briefings
  • Analyze test results to fix bugs or properly portray system performance

Qualifications:
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or related field and 3+ years of experience
  • Ability to work independently/efficiently and to thrive in a fast-paced environment, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Strong interest in RF, Satellite Systems, GNSS Receivers and anti-jam antennas
  • Strong communications skills
  • Some experience in Cyber Assurance, Satellite Remote Sensing or Communications
  • Experience with various coding languages such as python, C, C++, matlab, or others
  • and ability to acquire/retain a security clearance

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 3+ years' experience in GPS-PNT-Communications engineering (preferably in GNSS)
  • 3+ years' experience in Hardware Serial Communications and Network Communications
  • Strong working knowledge of C# or other software development languages
  • Experience with FPGA or SDR firmware or application development
