Partner with project managers and external vendors to set project priorities, establish milestones, and drive schedules to meet a deadline.
Influence technical documentation content, perform documentation review, dive deep into RCA and solutions.
Competently represent system and/or equipment designs to both customers and other teams and communicate project status, effectively answer project questions in detail, and regularly produce clear and concise summaries for the projects you own to your leadership/management team.
Excel at developing good working relationships with vendors, engineers, managers, and peers.
Participate in design reviews and support execution efforts between internal teams and outside vendors including equipment specifications, material flow, process design, and site layout.
Efficiently manage change order controls, purchase orders, and invoicing.
Build strong working relationships with Fulfillment Center leadership and their operations teams across multiple sites as well as their Launch, Facilities, Process Engineers, and other business stakeholders.
Identify and lead process improvement initiatives in support of operations teams.
Travel up to 20% domestically
Candidate Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
5+ years of experience as a project engineer, process engineer, project manager, manufacturing engineer, or related Control Systems Engineering occupation.
Experience with managing material handling or automation projects.
Design and/or implementation experience with integrated automation solutions, such as material handling systems, high-speed packaging lines, or manufacturing lines.
Experience in IPC/PLC code deployment and installation of controls solutions, preferred platforms are Allen Bradley (Rockwelll) and Codesys
Understanding of industrial networking (Profibus, ASi and Industrial Ethernet) and Ethernet Networking solutions and concepts
Strong time and task management skills with consistent attention to detail Preferred qualifications
Operations Management/Distribution Center experience.
Direct management or responsibility for material handling, automation, or technical projects.
Proven technical leadership for industrial engineering projects or programs.
Demonstrated design and/or implementation experience with integrated automation solutions, such as material handling systems, high-speed packaging lines, or manufacturing lines.
Proven technical leadership for industrial engineering projects or programs.
Top 3 must-have skills:
1. Electrical mechanical skills to support hardware system by themselves
2. Control engineer. PLC code experience/ Capability of electrical diagram
3. Must have hands on skill to build up and dissemble hardware system on their own. Capable of reading drawing of Electrical diagram
