Position Summary:
This is a local position for the West Michigan area. While hours are flexible and some remote work acceptable, employees will be expected to spend some time in the Zeeland, MI office (~20%). To better support our customers, the majority of all hours should overlap typical business hours (8am - 5pm). Additionally, occasional short term travel may be required for onsite visits to our Michigan and Midwest area customers.
Typical work involves designing and building applications and infrastructure for manufacturing customers, including tasks such as:
- Database schema design / implementation, SQL queries
- Inductive Automation Ignition platform work, including design, user interfaces (primarily Perspective), reporting screens, tag historian, alarming, etc.
- Interface to customer s existing control systems, including networking, drivers, etc.
- AWS services, such as Cognito, DynamoDB, IIoT Core, Amplify, CodeCommit, Lambda functions, API gateway, etc.
- Code repository functionality / team collaboration
- Enterprise data integration / aggregation concepting and implementation
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Science Engineering or similar majors or 3+ years experience in SCADA / MES / IIOT software development.
- Experience with SQL, scripting, creating various reports, and utilization of database tools.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
