Job Description :

We are looking for an experienced L2 Application Support Engineer to manage and troubleshoot enterprise applications built on a mix of modern and legacy technologies.

This role requires hands-on experience in issue triaging, root cause analysis, basic code-level debugging, and coordination with development and vendor teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide Level 2 (L2) support for business-critical applications across various technology stacks.

Perform incident and problem management including RCA, bug reproduction, and permanent fixes coordination.

Monitor application health, job failures, and alerts; take timely corrective actions.

Support deployments, configuration changes, and environment validations.

Work closely with L1 teams for ticket escalations and provide knowledge transfer where necessary.

Liaise with L3 developers or vendors to ensure timely resolution of complex issues.
Create and maintain support documentation and knowledge base articles.

Technical Skillsets (any combination based on team assignment):

Modern Applications:

Angular, Java (Spring/REST APIs), MongoDB, Oracle Web & Middleware:

JSP, JSF, Salesforce (basic support), Mainframe (monitoring/integration-level)

Key Competencies:

Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

Understanding of ITIL processes (especially Incident, Problem, Change)

Knowledge of job scheduling tools, log monitoring systems, and basic SQL

Ability to interpret application logs and trace through code to identify failure points

Strong communication and customer-handling skills

Education & Certification:

Bachelor's in computer science or related field

ITIL Foundation certification (preferred)
