Cosmos DB Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Azure Cloud Engineer to build and deploy robust Azure database solutions, with a strong emphasis on Cosmos DB. You will leverage your 8+ years of hands-on Azure experience to architect, implement, and manage scalable, high-performance Cosmos DB environments within enterprise-grade Azure infrastructure.

In this critical role, you will collaborate closely with application development and infrastructure teams to ensure secure, efficient, and consistent Cosmos DB deployments. Your deep understanding of cloud infrastructure management including virtual machines, storage, networking, and security and strong knowledge of core Azure services will be essential.
Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage Azure database solutions, with a primary focus on Cosmos DB.
• Develop and integrate automation workflows to streamline Cosmos DB provisioning, configuration, and scaling.
• Collaborate with DevOps, Security, and Application teams to ensure Cosmos DB environments meet business, performance, and compliance requirements.
• Implement and manage supporting Azure services crucial for database operations (e.g., Virtual Networks, Storage Accounts, Azure Functions).
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize the performance and availability of Cosmos DB and related Azure infrastructure.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and best practices for Cosmos DB deployments and operational procedures.
• Participate in architectural reviews, security assessments, and cost-optimization efforts focused on database infrastructure.
