Cutover Lead
(6 mos/mostly remote)
We are seeking an experienced Cutover Lead (6 mos/mostly remote) to oversee the transition and implementation of new Supply Chain Planning systems. Candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating the cutover activities to ensure a successful transition.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and manage the cutover plan, including detailed timelines, resource allocation, and risk
Coordinate with project managers, technical teams, and business stakeholders to ensure all cutover activities are aligned and executed
Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues that could impact the cutover process.
Conduct cutover rehearsals and simulations to validate the cutover plan and ensure readiness.
Communicate cutover status, progress, and issues to senior management and stakeholders.
Ensure all cutover activities comply with organizational policies, procedures, and standards.
Provide post-cutover support and troubleshooting to address any issues that arise.
Cutover Deliverables
Decision on the Rehearsal needs (+ criteria for decision)
Cutover Plan overview and timeline
Cutover Runbook (detailed list of activities by team)
Pre-Cutover activities (anticipated activities including the Rehearsal activities
Cutover activities (right before the Go Live)
Post-Cutover activities (Mostly related to outbound integrations/Dry runs)
Resources mobilization plan
Communication plan
Roll back plan
Escalation plan
BCP and Recovery Plan
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
experience in leading cutover activities for large-scale technology implementations.
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
