Job Description
Client is seeking an experienced PeopleSoft FSCM Business Analyst to support the implementation of PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2 Accounts Receivable and Billing modules for one of our State clients. This is a critical role for assessing current-state business operations, conducting fit-gap analysis, and coordinating with multiple teams to support successful system integration.
This position is currently remote but may transition to a hybrid work environment. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, collaborative, and capable of working with large cross-functional remote teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and document business process analysis, requirements gathering, and fit-gap analysis for PeopleSoft AR and Billing modules.
- Analyze current operational procedures, identify process improvements, and document input/output requirements.
- Write detailed functional specifications and translate user needs into technical documentation.
- Perform end-to-end integration testing, including legacy and third-party interface systems.
- Support training efforts, UAT planning, and provide hands-on testing during implementation phases.
- Collaborate with SMEs, IT teams, and other stakeholders to ensure project alignment.
- Utilize tools like MS Teams, SharePoint, and Jira for team collaboration and tracking progress.
- Contribute to project documentation and support ad hoc project needs.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- A minimum of eight (8) years of experience working as a Business Analyst with PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2, specifically focused on the Accounts Receivable and Billing modules.
- At least eight (8) years of experience conducting requirements gathering and fit-gap analysis with subject matter experts.
- A minimum of eight (8) years performing hands-on end-to-end system integration testing, including third-party interfaces.
- At least four (4) years of experience using Microsoft O365 applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
- A minimum of two (2) years of experience working with Microsoft Teams in a large, collaborative team environment.
Nice to Have:
- Experience working with government agencies (Federal, State, or Local)
- Familiarity with the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts (CPA) CAPPS Financials system
- Experience using PeopleSoft Approval Workflow Engine (AWE)
- Knowledge of SharePoint, Jira, and STAT tools
- Experience working within a Scrum framework
