100% Remote role

Time zone preference: prefer EST or able to work that time zone

Ideal Candidate:

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Bachelor s degree, or 5+ years of procurement experience.
• Negotiation skills preferred but not required. Basic contracting.
• Experience with Workday required.
• Ticketing system: ServiceNow, required to know.
• Ability to work well with business, be able to keep things moving. Key stakeholder management. Collaboration skills.
• MSP Programs (external workforce management) knowledge and experience, is a plus!
• Skilled in HR/legal, and procurement.

Work and projects - Lower dollar, and lower risk. Could be working on Memberships and sponsorships. Going to start helping the Analysts with their workload and items, so they can focus on being more strategic.

Summary:

The Procurement Specialist supports sourcing, vendor management, and procurement activities across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Negotiate favorable contract terms, collaborating with legal as needed.
• Resolve invoice discrepancies and procurement-related issues.
• Partner with Procurement Analysts to assist with procurement strategies with organizational goals.
• Drive cost savings and process improvements.
• Promote policy compliance and educate stakeholders on procurement processes and risk management.
• Collaborate with HR, Legal, and business stakeholders to ensure proper classification, onboarding, and compliance of external workers. Knowledge of MSP Programs is a plus.
