Job Details
Our client is a specialist asset management firm with over $10 billion AUM, specialized in income-oriented credit investments in niche and inefficient markets. As a rapidly growing firm of 120 employees in Greenwich, CT, they are seeking a full time Application Developer to build next-generation applications.
Key responsibilities:
- Support the application development needs for trading, operations, risk management, finance and data analytics
- Build applications that enhance our operations and advance the usage of our Snowflake Data Warehouse
- Integrate 3rd party applications and data sources using modern middleware technologies
- Partner with IT and security teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and adherence to cybersecurity best practices
- Stay up to date on trends, best practices, and emerging technologies across the data engineering space and integrate into the platform where applicable
Qualifications:
- Strong system design skills with an emphasis on clean code
- Proficient in programming languages such as .NET/Angular (Python experience a plus)
- Experience developing applications to run on cloud-based solutions (AWS/Azure)
- Experience working with relational databases such as Snowflake and a good command of SQL
- Experience working in a Buy Side Financial Firm
- Self-motivated problem-solver with strong relationship and communication skills
- Comfortable working independently in a complex environment
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
