RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Fremont, CA that is seeking a Mechanical Engineer 3. This role involves simulation support for design validation, optimization as well as testing and data collection. The Mechanical Engineer will provide the crucial design information needed to shape our technology's packaging. In this role, the Engineer will directly contribute to Etch Engineering.
Duties:
* Designs and analyzes mechanical systems, equipment and packaging
* Conducts simulation support (structural, thermal/flow analysis etc.) for design validation, optimization as well as testing and data collection
* Conducts feasibility studies and testing on new and modified designs
* Directs support personnel in the preparation of detailed design, design testing and prototype fabrication
REQUIREMENTS:
* Proficient in CFD/FEA simulation
* Ansys fluent (or equivalent)
* Fluid mechanics/heat transfer
* Structural analysis
* Experience in Semiconductor industry
* CAD (NX or equivalent)
* Knowledge of MS Office
* Excellent oral and written communication
* Preferred experience in additive manufacturing (AM) simulation
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
