Job Purpose: The Contractor shall perform systems administration tasks as directed by the Department s Contract Manager, which may include but are not limited to the duties outlined in the task list below. All assigned tasks are expected to be completed within the specified response time and on-site during standard office hours (unless after-hours work for changes/deployments is required and approved). The contracted Systems Administrator will collaborate closely with IT Staff to carry out the following general responsibilities:
About the Candidate: Qualifications Education - Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Communication or other related field; or job-related experience on a year-by-year basis.
This position requires the following experience and/or knowledge:
1. Managing enterprise-scale environments and automation. 2. Experience in implementing and managing Azure. 3. Expertise in Power Platform Center of Excellence (CoE) deployment. 4. Advanced governance using Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies and environment strategies. 5. Integration with Azure services, Microsoft 365, and Dynamics 365. 6. Automation of admin tasks using PowerShell, Power Automate, and APIs. 7. ALM strategy using Github or Azure DevOps pipelines. 8. Disaster Recovery and Backup Strategies for Power Platform Environments. 9. Power Platform administration and governance. 10. Role-based access control and audit trail configuration. 11. Azure Integration Blueprints (e.g., Logic Apps, Data Lake, Snowflake, Application Insights). (may be less than 7 years) 12. Work experience with State of Florida IT Projects. (may be less than 7 years) 13. Highly self-motivated and directed. 14. Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. 15. Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks while under pressure. 16. Logical and efficient, with keen attention to detail. 17. Excellent analytical, mathematical, and creative problem-solving skills. 18. Deploy and manage Azure OpenAI, Microsoft Copilot, or other AI Services. (may be less than 7 years) 19. Bachelor s degree in IT or Engineering.
Primary Job, Duties and Tasks 1. Provisioning and configuring development, test, and production environments. 2. Setting up security roles and user permissions. 3. Environment provisioning and naming conventions. 4. Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies across environments. 5. Integration with Microsoft 365, Azure AD, and external systems. 6. Scheduled maintenance plans (patching, backups, and performance tuning). 7. Monitoring system health and usage metrics. 8. Setting up Power BI dashboards to proactively monitor health and usage of the environment. 9. Power Automate flows for admin tasks (e.g., license cleanup, alerts). 10. Configuring business process flows and approval workflows. 11. Automating tasks using Power Automate within Dynamics 365. 12. Data governance policies (retention, access control, compliance) 13. Role-based access control and audit trail configuration. 14. Role-based access in Dataverse and Power Apps. 15. Integration with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) for identity management. 16. Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) strategy using GitHub or Azure DevOps. 17. Admin guides for environment setup and feature management. 18. Training materials for end users and support teams. 19. Power BI dashboards showing team workload and automation impact. 20. Manage Azure Entra ID and Enterprise Applications registrations. 21. Provision and manage Azure App Services, Function Apps, and Logic Apps. 22. Provision and manage Azure storage accounts. 23. Monitor Azure Consumption to prevent over usage. 24. Assist with Virtual Machine provisioning, migration, and configuration in Azure. 25. Deploy and management of Azure OpenAI, Microsoft Copilot, or other AI Services. 26. Configure, maintain, and monitor servers, networks, and databases. 27. Work with IT Development teams on the utilization of Azure Development tools, including but not limited to Service Bus, Key Vault, API Management. 28. Manage, support, and configure Azure Virtual Desktop. 29. Document system configuration, changes, and issue resolutions. 30. Assist with the development of Azure hosting cost estimates. 31. Perform other tasks as determined by the Department s Contract Manager. |
