Application Governance Role


We are seeking a resource to support application governance for a new platform currently being built.


Overview:


This role involves reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating information technology systems operations. The ideal candidate is familiar with a variety of industry concepts, practices, and procedures, and will rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Responsibilities may include performing a range of complex tasks, leading others, and reporting directly to a technology manager. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

responsibilities:

Responsibilities:



  • Establish new governance structures and procedures for a new platform
  • Create audit controls and documentation to provide evidence of governance measures
  • Interpret documentation and enterprise governance standards
  • Communicate and translate governance requirements across various technical and non-technical teams
  • Collaborate to identify and resolve governance-related issues
  • Collect and report system metrics, API usage, and server/license costs
  • Ensure alignment with cloud security and audit frameworks


qualifications:

Required Skills:



  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Problem-solving abilities and understanding of technology landscapes
  • Confidence to challenge constructively when necessary
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and some knowledge of Microsoft Access
  • Understanding of cloud governance, cloud security, and audit practices


Nice to Have:



  • Familiarity with ARCHER applications


Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (preferred)
  • Relevant experience in IT governance or related disciplines
