We are seeking a Disaster Recovery Lead to drive and mature our organization's Software Currency Management practice. This role requires strong technical leadership in software lifecycle and enterprise asset management. You will be responsible for establishing the software currency framework, integrating lifecycle governance into delivery processes, and ensuring measurable improvement across risk, compliance, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and execute the enterprise-wide Software Currency Strategy, including vision, governance, and operational framework.
  • Collaborate with Technology, InfoSec, and Vendor Management to build a comprehensive software inventory within the enterprise CMDB.
  • Design and maintain processes to track deployed software versions, end-of-life (EOL) and end-of-support (EOS) status, and upgrade paths.
  • Monitor support status and flag outdated technologies posing security or compliance risks.
  • Track and optimize software-related costs, including license renewals, support fees, and legacy support spending.
  • Run and chair the Software Currency Decision Board to evaluate software health, risks, and investment priorities.
  • Develop and maintain Software Currency Scorecards by application, business unit, and enterprise level.
  • Define, track, and report KPIs and KRIs tied to software currency, tech debt, and remediation.
  • Integrate software currency goals into performance metrics for key roles across Technology, InfoSec, and Business units.
  • Generate regular reports and actionable insights on software lifecycle risk and investment needs.
  • Recommend and implement tooling and automation solutions for efficient tracking and reporting.

Technical Profile:

  • Deep understanding of enterprise application stacks and technology lifecycle management.
  • Experience managing CMDBs and lifecycle metadata.
  • Familiarity with ITIL principles and vendor lifecycle data structures.
  • Comfortable working with tools such as ServiceNow, Flexera, or similar platforms.
  • Exposure to InfoSec frameworks and integration of security risk with software lifecycle management.

  • Skilled in organizational change management and cultural transformation within technology environments.
  • Strong communicator with a proven ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Experienced in building enterprise scorecards and integrating KPIs into performance review systems.
  • Adept at cost optimization and risk quantification aligned to software lifecycle health.
