Description
We are looking for a skilled Network Engineer to join our team in Greater Cleveland. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and troubleshooting complex network infrastructures while ensuring smooth operations and adherence to best practices. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in network technologies and a proactive approach to implementing innovative solutions.
Responsibilities:
Diagnose and resolve network-related incidents and problems promptly to minimize downtime.
Install, maintain, and optimize complex network infrastructures, ensuring high levels of performance and reliability.
Lead initiatives to evaluate, recommend, and deploy emerging network technologies to enhance systems.
Manage configuration and change processes in compliance with established procedures and standards.
Develop and maintain documentation to support knowledge management and ensure smooth operations.
Administer and troubleshoot firewalls, routers, and switches, including Palo Alto Networks, and other technologies.
Implement and manage LAN, WAN, VLAN, and SD-WAN configurations to support business needs.
Monitor and improve the performance of datacenter and cloud environments, including VMware.
Ensure robust backup and disaster recovery solutions are in place for critical network components.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align network strategies with organizational goals.
Requirements
A minimum of 5 years of experience in network engineering or a related field.
Proficiency with Cisco technologies, including routers, ASA, and configuration management.
Hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewalls.
Knowledge of LAN, WAN, VLAN, SD-WAN, and VMware infrastructure.
Familiarity with datacenter operations and backup technologies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex network challenges.
Ability to work independently and lead technical projects effectively
