Job Details

Job Description

  1. With minimum direction, develops, evaluates, and improves manufacturing methods, utilizing knowledge of product design, materials and parts, fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality control standards.
  2. Performs analysis and work force utilization planning, space requirements, and workflow, and designs layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency.
  3. Confers with planning and design staff concerning product design and tooling to ensure efficient production methods.
  4. May confer with vendors to determine product specifications and arrange for purchase of equipment, materials, or parts, and evaluates products according to specification s and quality standards.
  5. Estimates production times, staffing requirements, and related costs to provide information for management decisions.
  6. Supports management, engineering, and other staff regarding manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, and other considerations to facilitate production processes.
  7. Designs tooling, fixtures, product/part, machines
  8. Develops and recommends plans for productivity and efficiency improvements and performs manufacturing cost estimating and feasibility studies.
  9. Assists in establishing advanced quality engineering standards and procedures and submit as required by customer needs.
  10. Has responsibility and authority to prevent all Environmental and Safety nonconformities and stop any nonconforming operations until corrective action has been completed.

About the Team

With the corporate office located in Auburn Hills, MI Hutchinson Fluid Management Systems, Inc., We design and produce the lines needed for all their car and truck fluid transfer systems. Our solutions enable them to manage their turbocharged air intake, engine cooling and fuel injection systems. We also provide the lines required for pollution control systems, such as particulate filters, blow-by and selective catalytic reduction (SCR), as well as assisted steering and air conditioning lines. Our manufacturing sites in the United States are located in Livingston, Tennessee.
