Title: MES Consultant on Siemens OpsCenter
Location: Seattle, WA - onsite
Duration: Long Term
Description:
Key Responsibilities
- Hands on experience in implementing Opcenter Discrete Solution for a plant
- Good understanding of complete life cycle implementation of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) on Siemens Opcenter Discrete
- Good understanding of Opcenter Execution Discrete solution architecture
- Knowledge of Closed Loop Manufacturing (PLM and ERP) Good understanding of Discrete business process for complex assembly manufacturing
- Strong background in APIs, middleware, messaging queues and enterprise integration patterns
- Experience in Solution Architecture, Opcenter Discrete modules - Opcenter EX FN, APS, MOM Connect, IPL with Tableau and Mendix.
- Experience in MES Upgrade
- Knowledge of interfaces with the Opcenter Discrete MES application and external applications like ERP, PLM, EquipmentMachines, HMI etc.
- Should have a fair understanding of computer system validations process Domain experience in Mfg.
- Industry Aero Industry (added advantage) Knowledge of Opcenter customization extensions
- Knowledge of OPC-UA, PLCSCADA interfacing Analytical skills, problem solving and attention to detail.
- Expertise in SQL.
- Good Knowledge of Agile framework.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Work with customer stakeholders on solution design based on Siemens Opcenter MOM platform.
- Techno-Functional Analysis and impact assessment of change and new requirements provide efficient and optimum solution to complex business problems Ability to provide product and technical guidance on Opcenter applications to team members.
- Requirement gathering, fit gap analysis and solution blueprint Experience working with Discreate Aerospace customers Articulate and communicate complex business process, conflict resolution and buy in on solution
- Work with across teams to build integration requirements with MES
- Ability to do coding in Opcenter discrete modules
- Translate the solution requirement and work with development team to build Be a mentor, ability to train other associates in the required skills
- Ensure the quality of deliverable by working with assurance team
- Work with program governance on project planning, scheduling
- Ability to build and lead a team for end-to-end project execution Team Management, Customer management, knowledge management.
- Coordination with manufacturing site, contextualize shop floor operations, understand support customers manufacturing business processes.
- Identify and implement continuous process improvement opportunities.
- Coordination contribution with MES COE, Interfacing application teams, and Digital Manufacturing initiatives.
- Closely coordinate and work with product team to ensure seamless operations, upgrades, implementations etc.
