Position Overview:

Delmock Technologies, Inc. is seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Automation Test Engineer Lead to test and validate web applications, UI, and server-based software. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience creating and maintaining automated test scripts (API and UI), with a deep understanding of Agile methodologies, SDLC, and software quality assurance standards. This role requires a strong technical foundation, the ability to operate in a SAFe-based Agile environment, and knowledge of DevSecOps practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and evaluate automated test scripts for UI and API, incorporating dynamic test data.
  • Gather and validate application functional, performance, and load requirements.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Execute manual and automated testing, including installation, functional, performance/load, integration, and regression testing.
  • Manage defects in corporate defect tracking systems (e.g., Jira) and create detailed test reports.
  • Document and implement process improvements for test automation best practices.
  • Coordinate and prioritize test activities across multiple scrum teams and projects.
  • Troubleshoot software and operating system-level installation and configuration issues.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of structured software quality assurance experience.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience developing automated test scripts and executing test cases.
  • Proficiency in 2-3 structured programming languages (e.g., .NET, Java).
  • Experience automating .NET and CRM (e.g., Pega) applications using frameworks like Gauge (Selenium).
  • Strong knowledge of quality assurance practices and methodologies.
  • Expertise in SOAP and RESTful web APIs, including tools like ReadyAPI or Postman.
  • Proficiency with MS SQL Server, GIT, CI/CD pipelines, and build processes.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with program interfaces, databases, messaging systems, and other program objects.

Preferred Skills:

  • 508 Compliance testing experience.
  • Performance and load testing expertise with tools like LoadRunner.
  • Hands-on experience with JavaScript, HTML, XML, and XSLT.
  • Familiarity with Visual Studio Code and/or IntelliJ.
  • Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) experience.

Clearance Requirement:

  • Must be able to pass a U.S. government background investigation and meet public trust requirements.
